i have been working on quite a few new ideas lately. i’ve been using my dreams, to some extent, as inspiration for my work. i sort of think of it as telling stories with pictures. i’m hyped to see where these take me and what they turn into as i explore them more deeply. it’s super cool and i’m enjoying the process a lot.

Of course lots of portraits lately too – i had let myself get pretty rusty and it’s basically been a bit like learning to ride a bike all over again. But my eyes remember what to do, so it’s been fun stretching those muscles after such a long rest.
